The Cardinals are 3-0 on the road, but only 1-2 at home. Fitzgerald is 10th in points/game among receivers and Warner is 12th among QBs. If they start to win at home, watch out for big movements by these two.
The Seahawks are 2-4 , but have outscored their opponents. In Fantasyland, however, they don’t have anyone in the top 80! A long, wet winter is on the horizon for Seattle fans. Good things should happen for Cowboys this weekend.
The Saints lead the league in TDs, inspite of playing only 6 games. They have scored 32 TDs, only 25 more that the Browns. Brees leads all players in points/game and Colston is now third among wideouts. The Brown QBs have scored less points combined than many of the kickers. A long, snowy winter for Cleveland fans, but a Mardi Gras to remember in New Orleans this year.
The Bears will rise this weekend…if they don’t they should migrate to Oregon and commit legal suicide….that is, if they can get out of town in time to prevent the second Valentine’s massacre.
Go Bears!!!

We are about half way through the bye weeks. How are your teams doing?
Last week was not a good one for FSO, as we lost more than we won. The major culprit was the Bears defense or lack of it.
So far the revenge games have been all for the revenger, Benson and Farve. What will happen this week with Farve II?
My guess is that Farve II will not be a repeat, but a victory for the Pack.
Some big games this week and some potential historical ones also, including St. Louis and Detroit. My guess is bet on a tie in OT, though the Lions are already winners this year and could double that this weekend. From a fantasy standpoint how do you rate Smith and Jackson? Either one could be a bust or have a great week. Probably best to pick them both or pick neither.
Speaking of running backs, Forte should do well against the Browns as should the Bears defense….if they don’t, put them in cold storage.
Quarterbacks this week, include the top three of four as picked by Data Sense in August. Only Brady is missing and that is because it is R&R time for the Pats.
Receivers that look good include the key ones of the Colts, Chargers and Saints.
Good luck and make your move now!!!!

This past week FSO’s teams crossed the 500 mark again and had the high score for the for the year in one league. Many other really good scores were als0 achieved.
This week could be one for the QBs, with good matchups for Manning boys, Tom Terrific, Philip Rivers, the kid from Green Bay and the New Orleans gunner.
The Bear-Bengal will have the added drama of Sir Cedric against his old team which he accuses of attemptng to black ball him. We will see if that turns him into a real Tiger and just a pussy cat.
Another interesting game will be the wildcat of Mr. Brown versus that pinpoint passing of Drew Bress. Take both of them, along with the kickers.
The future for some of the RBs look less promising now than it in August. Forte’s touches are down and Bears have become a pass first team. Chis Johnson of the Titans is doing OK, but if they don’t improve he will see 11 in the box soon. Portis has bad ankles and lousy play calling and Westbrook is only one step from the hospital. For AP owners, hope that Brett doesn’t get hurt or he will also see 11 in the box.
Finally, we have the NY Jets situation with a beat up QB, at least mentally, and the great running of Jones and Washington. They get the “new” Raiders this week and all could be well in New York.
Go Bears!!!!

We have undefeated teams and winless teams. The question for fantasy players is “how long can it last?”
There are still four undefeated teams and three winless teams. While the value of the player is not tied directly to his team, it sure is influenced by it. So, in making your selections this week with Data Sense, keep this in mind.
It appears that Minnesota will have a tough game, while Indianapolis will have a cake walk. The Saints will play the ever perplexing Dolphins, an very interesting contrast in styles. Tennessee wisely took the week off. Week seven has many of the key fantasy players on the sidelines, so select carefully and good luck.

Its hard to believe, but FSO was one game under 500 due to Derrick Mason and the 49er’s. Two zeros or less, what a stinker.
This week, however, promises to be much better….let’s hope so.
As we near the 1/3 mark, the season continues to surprise. Who would guess the number of undefeated or winless teams. Maybe we should start new playoffs this year, with winless teams playing one another every week until one team is kicked out of the league and the champion of So Cals high school playoffs gets in. This way we would have the NFL’s dream of a LA team and one city could truly wait until next year.
According to the experts this week is going to tough on running back and big for QBs and their receivers. Anyone want to bet that we have a 300 yard runner and a super QB getting knocked out and ending up with less 150 yards.
Good luck this week.

This week could be very big games for Eli, Drew and Tom. Everyone has something extra going for them.
New Orleans will be rocking more than usual with two unbeatens going at it in the Super Dome. This game could end up 38-37 or 6-3. But I bet on the over this week.
Brady’s Bunch have a good looking matchup against the new Detroit Titans. They rank 32nd in pass defense….maybe Welker. Moss and Brady finally have a monster week.
My beloved Bears return to action against the red Hot Falcons, who destroyed Singletary’s 49er’s. What a comedown.
Lots of fantasy games are going to be won or lost late Sunday night. Will it Be Ryan or Cutler, Forte or Turner or will both defenses rise to the occasion? I have no idea except that the Bears have had two weeks to prepare…that should mean something.
Denver goes to San Deigo on Monday and will run into a rejuvinated LT. I have him on 3 of my teams so I want him to do well.
Should be a great Monday night game.
The best for last….Redskins and Chiefs.
What can you say,
Goooo Bears!!!!

At the end of the first quarter of games there are some very interesting observations on who are the point leaders. In many leagues, QBs hold 14 out of the 15 top spots. AP is the one exception, with the Giant’s Steve Smith being the next non QB to place. Very interesting and somewhat usual.
Speaking of the Giant’s Steve Smith, in one of our drafts, a person drafted the wrong Steve Smith (Giants) and made a big deal out of goofing up. I drafted the correct Steve Smith and smiled. Sometimes errors are really good.
The running backs are somewhat following what was expected, though Forte and Slaton still lag inspite of recent good games. I expect both will continue to climb as their teams seem to be opening more holes in the defense than early in the year.
Reggie Wayne and the above mentioned wrong Steve Smith are hot receivers
as are Gates and Clark at TE.
What can you say about the 49er’s, Broncos and Saints defenses, except WOW!! This week will tell more about SF and Denver.
Since the Bears are resting this week, we will say go 49er’s. Mike Singletary is really a Bear at heart anyway. Goooo 49er’s!!!

Last week was one for many big and exciting games….topped off by the Vikings-Packers shoot out. This week, well, we will see. It doesn’t look like the matchups are as exciting, but then who knows.
FSO’s H to H teams won 2/3 of their games and lost one when the Bengals had an extra point blocked allowing for OT which cost us a one point loss. On the other hand 66.7% is still very good.
Many of the expected good running backs started to produce, including Slaton, Forte and even Portis. AP scored, but the yards were down. This week will tell much as some hot defenses will be put to the test, including the 49er’s and Broncos.
Work continues on improving Data Sense as we strive for excellence.
Good luck this week.
